For starters, the zombies in the movie are actually vampires in the book! And the title of the movie cames from the fact that the main character is the only human alive on earth (from there comes the legend!).

One of the other differences is the girl that saves Robert during the movie. She isn’t an human, is a vampire that has a simple mission: kill the main character.

In the movie, Robert also tries to find a cure but in the book there is no such things has cures or experiences to find a cure. Also , all vampires know where Robert lives so he is attacked very frequently.

I think the movie is great (at least until the first half of it). Then it seams that budget ended an they had to end the movie in a hurry.

One of my hopes when i was seeing the movie was that the zombies had some intelligence and they, at some point, accepted the cure.

Although i didn’t liked the story, the special effects were GREAT!
